Frank Rammeloo is planning to cycle non stop for 25 hours on May 27 and 28 for Lion Heart and hopes to complete many miles. At the same time, he hopes to be sponsored and this money will be donated to Lion Heart.

The President of The Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma visited the Gbonkolenken Chiefdom on March 9th 2012. During his tour, at the request of President Koroma, a visit was scheduled to the Lion Heart Medical Centre and e-Luma.

Last week, two technicians from Medex in Ghana visited the LHMC to install the DigiMedX digital Xray device that had arrived in Yele earlier this year. After only one day work, the job was done and the DigiMedX worked perfectly well.

Monday, February 27th was a great day for 20 promising nursing auxiliaries to be. They started their training at the Lion Heart Medical Center.

On February 1st, Erdi Huizenga MD has started her work as a tropical doctor in the Lion Heart Medical Centre in Yele. Erdi is well known to LHF, since she was employed in the Magbenteh Community Hospital for a period of 2 years.
